Pulverizing of the existing surface treatment on Doxsee Road, south of Black Road to Jericho Road, will begin on Tuesday, May 30.
The work is part of the double surface treatment process included in the 2023 rural roads rehabilitation program.
The work may cause minor traffic delays and may create noise and/or minor dust. Following pulverization, work will continue on this section of Doxsee Road in preparation for the double surface treatment application later this summer.
The only double surface treatment in the County in 2023 is on Doxsee Road. The bulk of the rural roads rehabilitation work this year is single surface treatment, a preventative maintenance technique that will extend the life of a surface-treated road surface that is still in good condition.
