Residents and business owners had an opportunity to learn more about the Rossmore Stormwater Master Servicing Plan at a public information centre (PIC) held last month.
County Staff updated the public on the study, discussed the existing stormwater conditions in Rossmore, got feedback on stormwater issues in the community and highlighted the next steps with the study.
The municipality has prepared a summary of the input received and how the comments are being addressed. Click here to learn more about what we heard at the Public Information Centre.
Need for the project
The County is responsible for all capital works associated with stormwater infrastructure in Rossmore.
The Rossmore Stormwater Study will help guide stormwater servicing and capital costing strategies to guide current and future infrastructure planning in Rossmore. This strategy will need to support economic prosperity, community well-being, fiscal responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
Next steps
County staff will review and incorporate the feedback received at the PIC and prepare a draft 90% Project File Report. The final 90% Project File Report is anticipated to be posted in late summer 2026 for a 30‑day public review period.
