Saturday, October 15 is Advance Voting Day for the 2022 municipal election

October 13, 2022

Electors can begin casting their ballots from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Advance Voting Day, Saturday, October 15.

Prince Edward County residents have two options to cast their ballot in the 2022 municipal and school board elections: Internet or paper ballot at a ward-specific location.

Option 1 – Internet voting:

Vote from anywhere, from any device, at any time. Internet voting runs continuously from 10 a.m. on Advance Voting Day (Saturday, October 15) until 8 p.m. on Election Day (Monday, October 24).

To vote online, go to the unique link provided on your Voter Notification Card. You will be asked to enter your Voter ID and PIN that is on your Voter Notification Card. You will also be required to enter your date of birth to verify your identity. Once logged in, you will be presented with an electronic ballot. Mark your ballot for each contest and click “Submit.”

Option 2 – In-person voting: Vote in-person at your assigned ward-specific voting location on Advance Voting Day or Election Day. Visit the County’s website to find your voting location.

Free public transit for voters: The County has partnered with Quinte Transit to offer all voters free rides to and from their polling places. Free bus rides will be available County-wide to all eligible electors on Advance Voting Day and Election Day. Visit the County website to check the schedule and learn how to book your free trip.
