Wellington Main Street between East Street and Maple Street will be closed on Thursday, June 30 from 6 pm – 11 pm.
- The road will be closed for the Wellington Canada Day street dance, which is part of the PECelebrates Festival.
- Traffic will be detoured around the closed section of Wellington Main Street via Maple Street / Niles Street and Wharf Street, and East Street / Lakeview Street.
- Parking in the village will be limited. Street parking is available on side streets, as well as at the Wellington and District Community Centre lot (111 Belleville Street, which is a 15-minute walk to the concert stage).
- The municipality encourages people attending the street dance to walk, bike or take the free County Transit shuttle from Picton, Bloomfield, Hillier or Consecon. Learn more about the shuttle.
