Rolling road closures and traffic disruptions will occur on Sunday, October 1 during the County Marathon.
The road closures are managed by a specialized road race company and the Ontario Provincial Police. The closures are rolling, with roads reopening as the race progresses. In addition, major intersections are managed to keep traffic moving and allow vehicles through at regular intervals.
The followings roads will be closed at these times:
- County Road 33 (Wellington to Bloomfield) — 8 am – 10 am
- County Road 12 (Bloomfield to Sandbanks) — 8:45 am – 11 am
- County Road 11 and County Road 10 (Sandbanks to Picton) — 9:30 am – 2 pm
- Picton Main Street (Lake Street to Washburn Street) — 9:30 am – 2 pm

The race finish is at the Prince Edward Community Centre in Picton. Race participants will run along Picton Main Street, turning left onto Washburn Street, right onto Short Street, left onto Downes Avenue, right onto Queen Street, right onto Johnson Street, left onto Gladstone Street, ending at the Prince Edward Community Centre. Drivers are encouraged to proceed with caution and avoid travelling in the vicinity of the race route if possible on October 1.
