The County of Prince Edward is continuing construction on County Road 49 as part of the Rogers Communications Broadband Expansion project.
- Work will take place on County Road 49 in the area of Bethesda Road between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Work is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.
- Minor traffic disruptions are expected to occur and single lane closures may take place during the work.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
- Motorists are advised to drive with caution near construction work zones and obey all posted signage.
- Members of the Prince Edward County OPP may be present in some work areas.
