The municipal parking lot at 55 King Street in Picton will remain closed on Friday, June 27.
The lot will re-open as soon as possible. Follow the municipality on Facebook and X for updates.
The electrical work for installing two new Level 3 DCFC electric vehicle chargers has taken longer than originally anticipated. The County of Prince Edward apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the closure.
Free street parking along King Street will be available for the duration of the closure. Parking is free at the municipal lot on Mary Street.
The new charging station is expected to be functional in July 2025.
