Virtual public meeting for Adolphus Reach Resort (1315, 1329, and 1357 County Road 7) on June 14

May 31, 2022

A virtual public information meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 pm for the planning application Z117-21 (2522082 Ontario Inc.).

The County has received an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment for a tourist commercial development at 1315, 1329, and 1357 County Road 7.

Through these applications, the applicant seeks permission develop a tourist resort establishment consisting of accommodation and commercial aspects, known as the Adolphus Reach Resort.

Members of the public who wish to attend the virtual public meeting must register by contacting Matt Coffey, Planning Coordinator, Approvals, at mcoffey@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, June 13. The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions regarding accessing Microsoft Teams, please contact Mr. Coffey at the email address above.

Materials for each of the above applications can be viewed on The County’s website.

New Planning Application Process

This public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the updated planning application process approved in 2021.

At a public information meeting, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant.

The statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.
