County Commons Co-Working: Speaker Series

March 12 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Speaker: Clayton Hanmer, Illustrator

Learn how award‑winning illustrator Clayton Hanmer (aka CTON) uses comics and visual storytelling to make complex or taboo topics clear, engaging, and accessible. Clayton’s energetic style has appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic Kids, and several acclaimed kids’ books, including the Yellow Cedar Award–winning Trending: How and Why Stuff Gets Popular, The Museum of Odd Body Leftovers and most recently The Gland Factory. In this Lunch & Learn, Clayton shares practical strategies for explaining difficult ideas, connecting with audiences who think differently from you, and using visuals to spark understanding across age groups and backgrounds.
