Public Information Centre: Reconstruction of Picton Main Street

A Public Information Centre has been scheduled for the Picton Main Street Reconstruction Project.
The County is proposing to commence the reconstruction of Main Street in 2023 from Johnson Street to 250 metres east of Spencer Street.
The purpose of this Public Information Centre is to review and showcase the detailed design of the project, and to provide pertinent information to the area residents and gather input from the stakeholders regarding the upcoming construction.
The proposed works associated with Main Street will involve the installation of new underground infrastructure including watermains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers, whereby following such installations the roadway will be reconstructed with new concrete curb and gutters, concrete sidewalks, and a new an asphalt roadway surface.
