Paving on Markland Avenue rescheduled to May 14

May 13, 2026

Due to inclement weather, paving work on Markland Avenue in Picton previously scheduled for Wednesday, May 13 will be rescheduled to take place on Thursday, May 14.

  • Traffic disruptions will occur periodically between 7 am and 7 pm.
  • The contractor, GIP Paving, will be on site grinding and paving Markland Avenue from Talbot Street to Campbell Crescent as part of the Talbot on the Trail subdivision works.
  • Minor delays can be expected on Talbot Street as equipment will temporarily occupy the northbound lane. Traffic control will be in place during these times.
