The County of Prince Edward has received an application for Site Plan Control SP-02-26 for 1370 Highway 49 for the construction of a screen tower building, storage building, electrical room, docking station, and parking area to utilize Alternative Low Carbon Fuels (ALCFs) to continue the production of Portland cement at the Picton Cement Plant.

The County has received an application for Minor Variance A6-26 for 1370 Highway 49 to request that the required parking spaces are provided within a separate zoning category as the principal use, and to reduce the minimum interior side yard setback from the zoning boundary from 5 metres to 0.052 metres.
