The County of Prince Edward has received an application for Site Plan Control for 1370 Highway 49 for the construction of a screen tower building, storage building, electrical room, docking station, and parking area to utilize Alternative Low Carbon Fuels (ALCFs) to continue the production of Portland cement at the Picton Cement Plant.
