The County of Prince Edward County will showcase the exciting efforts of environmental-based community groups during a volunteer open house on Thursday, April 27.
Residents who are interested in finding out what is happening in their community or getting involved are invited to attend. Groups and volunteers will be on hand to talk about the work they have undertaken and highlight the upcoming projects they are involved in.
The open house will get underway with Earth Week Talks about the “Beauty of Compost” presented by Lise Bois and Robin Reilly, as well as “Wetlands and Wildlife,” which the West Lake Community Association will present.

- Members of The County’s Operations Department

The open house will occur at the Highline Hall inside the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street) from 4 – 7 pm. The County Foundation will provide the refreshments.
