The Picton Harbour Marina is set to open for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 2.
Preparations are also underway for the installation of the docks at Wellington Harbour Marina and each of the municipal boat launches.
The Picton Marina will offer fuel, pump-outs, and docking as of Saturday, May 2. The marina will be open daily from 8 am to 6:30 pm. Staff training will take place on Friday, May 1 and limited services such as fuel and pump-outs will be available at this time. Stay tuned for updates on extended hours as the season progresses.
County Council entered into an agreement to operate an additional 67 slips, located to the southwest of the Marina (Water Lot 1), for the 2026 season. Changes to the layout, and the addition of hydro and water services for those docks are currently underway with an opening date expected in late May. Updates will be provided to the public. Until then, limited docking will be available beginning Friday, May 1 on the boardwalk only.

County staff will begin installing the boat launch docks at each of the municipal boat launch areas in early May. The launch docks at Centennial Park, Wellers Bay, Big Island, Wellington Beach and Picton Marina will be available as of Saturday, May 2 while the remaining docks will be in place in time for the long weekend in May.
Seasonal parking passes can be purchased online or in-person at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) or any Prince Edward County Library branch. Seasonal parking passes are valid at all thirteen municipal boat launch areas.
