Planning and Development Committee to meet September 16

August 26, 2026

The Planning and Development Committee will hold a meeting pursuant to Sections 34, 51 and 53 of the Planning Act on Wednesday, September 16.

The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.

Visit the Planning Portal – Active Planning Applications to view materials for each of the applications listed below and to provide comments.

Decision meetings will take place for the following applications on September 16:

  • Address: County-wide
  • Applicant: Municipally initiated
  • Purpose: Housekeeping amendment to include Zoning By-law Amendments previously approved by Council, decisions of the Ontario Land Tribunal, correct technical errors, provide clarity to existing provisions, and ensure alignment with the Official Plan
  • Planner: Emily Overholt (eoverholt@pecounty.on.ca)

The meeting will take place at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) beginning at 6 pm.

The public is invited to participate in-person, virtually, and/or through written comments submitted to the respective planner prior to the meeting.

Members of the public who wish to speak at the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, are encouraged to register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Wednesday, September 16. Upon registering to speak at the meeting, members of the public will be emailed instructions on attending the meeting in person or a unique link and directions for participating in the meeting via Zoom.
