Apply now for in-kind funding through the Municipal Community Grants program

September 11, 2025

Applications are now open for the secondary intake of in-kind funding from the County of Prince Edward, offering valuable support to help bring your community-focused projects and initiatives to life.

The deadline to apply for in-kind funding through the Municipal Community Grants program is October 6, 2025 at 4 pm.

In-kind funding refers to municipal services or resources that support the work of an organization by helping reduce the cost of the work or initiative proposed. Some examples of in-kind contributions include use of municipal venues, services, equipment, or labour as valued by the Fees and Charges By-Law.

Organizations that provide programs, services or activities in culture, heritage, recreation, environment, and health and human services can apply for up to $2,000 per year for in-kind funding. Applicants can apply twice a year for in-kind funding during the primary or secondary intakes unless they have received the maximum grant size during the primary intake.

The 2025 secondary intake covers activities taking place from October 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026. For activities taking place after May 31, 2026, organizations should apply during the 2026 primary intake.

Through a partnership agreement, The County Foundation administers all streams of grant applications. Application forms and more information are available on The County Foundation’s website.

Want to learn more? Join representatives from the municipality and The County Foundation for an in-kind funding webinar on Tuesday, September 16 from 2-3 pm. They will walk participants through the latest program changes, answer questions, and share tips to help strengthen your application. The event is free, but registration is required.
