Picton Master Servicing Plan

The County is initiating a Picton Master Servicing Plan (MSP), following the Municipal Class EA Master Plan process, to identify short and long-range infrastructure needs within the serviced area of Picton/Bloomfield.

The County awarded the contract to CIMA Canada Inc. in July 2022. Notice of Study Commencement issued January 2023.
Project Details:
The Picton Master Servicing Plan study will determine infrastructure requirements for water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation for the Picton/Bloomfield serviced area to support project growth and planned development in the area.
Process
The Master Planning Process will be carried out in accordance with the Master Planning Process in the Municipal Class
Environmental Assessment document (October 2000, amended in 2007, 2011 and 2015).
Public Consultation
Public consultation is an integral component of the Master Planning process, and we value your input during the planning process. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held in association with the Master Planning process. Once a date for the PIC has been scheduled, invitation notices to the PIC will be published in local newspapers, posted on the County’s website and distributed to all individuals who express an interest in this project.
