Beach capacity updates:
Visit these X (formerly Twitter) feeds for information about capacity and conditions at popular beaches in The County. These X feeds are managed by the individual beaches and the municipality cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information. For Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Parks, it’s best to check their reservation system for up-to-date availability of day use permits. For Little Bluff and Wellington Rotary Beach, if there are no recent X updates, this generally means there is space available at the beach.
PEC Summer Pass
The 2024 PEC Summer Pass program is now open. The summer pass allows residents and taxpayers to park in designated parking spaces near the water access points at the end of Bakker Road and Huyck’s Point Road.
Wellington Rotary Beach
The coolest spot when the weather is hot!
Information on Wellington Rotary Beach is available here. New this year: PEC Summer Passes are no longer required for Wellington Rotary Beach.
Boat Launches
